About Fortune Net Group of Companies

The Fortune Net Group is the largest net and twine manufacturer in the Philippines. It consists of six companies:


Fortune Net and Twine Manufacturing Corp.
Established in 1974, this company produces Nylon Mono-filament double knot netting.


Philippine Fishing Gears Industries, Inc.
Philfish was created in 1976 to manufacture nylon and P.E. Raschel Knotless and Knotted/Braided/Twisted Nets and Twines. The company acquired a major deal by entering a contract with Mitsui & Co. Ltd. of Japan for International Asian Development Bank Projects.


Nettex Manufacturing and Export Corp.
Nettex has been in partnership with Taito Seiko Co. Ltd. of Japan since 1987 in the exportation of Raschel Knotless and Braided Nettings.


Fortune International Trading Corp.
Created in 1980, Fortune International imports fishing gears and equipment into the Philippine market. Fortune International also represents Ever-Bright Net and Twine Manufacturing Corp. and Anson Group of Companies to export PP weaving bags and sacks into the international market.


Altamar (Philippines) Industries, Inc.
Altamar was established in 1988 to expand the production and provide Tuna Braided Nets and Twines to the biggest worldwide tuna trader, Casamar Inc., based in San Diego, CA, USA. Altamar also entered into a project for the production and assembly of Fish Net Cages for Europe as well as other international markets with the collaboration of Scan Aqua from Norway, and with the addition of Netcraft from Australia.


Ever-Fortune Thermoplast Corp.
Beginning in 1992, Ever-Fortune has been manufacturing plastic cups for the domestic market in the Philippines. This company utilizes sophisticated and advanced plastic cup manufacturing machines from the German company, Reifen-Hauser and Illig.
